Get in the swing!

Posted by & filed under Blog.

This time of year is all about caring for yourself, so lets make us some good clean energy!

Healthy food and moving our bodies will create clean ,healthy energy, this is going to make us feel good.

When we feel good ,we are happy, we are emotionally stable, we are content .

So veggies, salads, get those antioxidents in for glowing skin, shiny hair, proteins to grow new cells of every kind .

A happy body will give you the energy you desire that positive vibe of goodness oozing from your smile!

Of course Im going to say part of feeling good is moving.

Feeling your body moving in a flowing motion accompanied by your amazing breathe, is the final key in unlocking your world of knowlegde about what you need to function at your  most vibrational level.

The path or journey of self realisation is really about loving everything you are, so by following only two rules most of the time

1. Eat healthy and  2. practice yoga. will bring you there.

Is This Menopause!

Posted by & filed under Blog.

When Menopause hits do we give in to the vice grip around our head!

Do we lie down and wait until it passes or push past the sluggish haze and remember the phrase

“I am woman hear me ROAR”

I don’t know when it started but it kind of just crept into my life, one day I was fearless and strong and then next I was doubting myself and wanting to give up.

That is ageing , that is menopause ,  whatever it is, I don’t like it ,so what I have decided is ….to workout what releases the grip around my head and helps me to feel like myself and not some kind of unenthusiastic, shadow of my former self.

The pose below helps me a lot, it stretches my body,  awakens my imagination and makes me feel invincible. The casino brands will be similar in structure https://myhomes.tv/best-casino-to-stay-at-in-las-vegas/ but different in their appearance.

It’s called the ‘Wild Thing’, it’s not hard to do and you don’t need a super supple body to create it.

It releases endorphins especially if you smile while you’re doing it, reaching as far as you can with your hand. These free slots are waiting for you to get the jackpot mania and hit https://starlitenewsng.com/downstream-casino-to-indigo-sky-casino/ the town celebrating.

Every time I do it, I feel energised and a whole lot freer physically and mentally. Therefore, to truly enjoy the most these great casinos offer, https://parkirpintar.com/can-you-trick-a-slot-machine/ make sure to familiarize yourself with their bonuses before you start your gambling adventure.

I feel I’m winning this battle of the meanie trying to put a pause button on my life. We want you to feel special https://kellyrobbins.net/how-do-u-play-craps-at-the-casino/ so we negotiated some Microgaming-only bonus offers for you.

MENOPAUSE = MEANIE PRESSING THE PAUSE BUTTON. This particular type of no deposit deal is the rarest. https://kellyrobbins.net/gta-online-how-to-do-casino-missions/

WILD THING = KICK SOME BUTT!

I know what you’re thinking, “This person has gone mad, how can putting your body into a position switch your focus from, I am roadkill, to I am a superhero.”

I challenge you to do it twice a day on both sides for a week, and tell me it doesn’t awaken an energy inside you!!

Remember to smile:))

Open your heart

Stretching your chest muscles, opens the heart chakra and gives the body a feeling of release and freedom.

By using the arms you can open or close the upper body.

Here are three movements to open your minor and major pectoral muscles.

1. Take your hands behind your back, innerlace the fingers and draw your shoulder blades together, you will feel the chest muscles opening and spreading energy through the front of the body, take some deep exhales.

2. Move your arms one at a time in circles backwards, like you were doing backstroke with a single arm and breathe deeply.

3. Take your right arm and straighten it above your head then bend it at the elbow and drop it down your back, have the  palm of your hand facing to your back and creep the fingers as far as you can get reaching towards the bottom of the shoulder blade. Then take your left hand and reach behind your back and try to link hands ( if you have a gap between the hands use a strap to bridge the gap until this gets easier to do. Once you have the hands holding the strap or your hands linking draw the shoulders open and breathe.

All these stretches done regularly will improve your wellbeing and make you feel happier and less anxious as well as correcting your posture.

Spring 2015

Posted by & filed under Blog.

Well my fellow Yogi’s, Winter is behind us and Spring is knocking at our door, I can hear the blinds rolling up and the shutters being flung open.

The warmth is in the air and we want to start moving a little more than in Winter. With less than 15 weeks until the end of the year its a great motivator to clean out the mind and the body.

The simple practice of routine can make this an easier decision, book yourself in to attend your yoga class and always without a doubt everything else will fall into place.

When the body is closed to our energy sources our minds flitter backwards and forwards, we make poor decisions based on the what ifs!! and end up  cramming too much into our lives.

We are just existing in a busy world, and running with each demand instead of step back and looking at the situation with a clear mind and an energised body.

Lets cross the bridge today and promise ourselves the simple life, let go of the over doing and move into the simple approach.

Come to your yoga class to STOP, RECALIBRATE and REMIND ourselves the best place for us to be is in the MOMENT, then each moment after that will be an easier decision.

Controlling the useless mind chatter of scenarios , will allow us to simply make the best decision in any situation, and this makes for a simple life.

We may not be able to control the demands placed on us but we can control our attitude to making decisions about the demands.

New Addition to Yoga at Alex

Introducing Ruby the new addition to Yoga at Alex, she is just as enthusiastic about Yoga as I am. She is on the mat ready to go,without any encouragement.

Animals have a strong instinct to stretch and keep their bodies supple and strong. Animals will stretch each time they get up from lying down which is perhaps exactly what we humans need to do.

Downward dog pose is Ruby’s favourite stretch and I can easily see how beneficial it is to the spine, muscles and it shows a definite mental release.

She smiles while she stretches which is quite obvious and makes the pose contagious, as with any yoga pose there is a certain release  and a smile will appear if not on the lips ,it is certainly in the heart.

Yoga helps us rejoice in the small things life has to offer, which in my opinion is the doorway to a happy life.

So Enjoy your downward dog and feel lucky to be able to feel the magic of yoga!
