Winter Time , brings the shorter days , making it so much harder to get up and stay motivated. How can we help ourselves to continue to move our bodies through winter.
For me , it is extremely hard to brave the cold as I have never loved wintertime π. I am trying to eat warmer foods lots of hearty broths /soup and vegetables rather than salads. Also if I have a cold vegetable and fruit smoothie I add a spicy shot of apple cider vinegar laced with ginger, turmeric black pepper and moringa leaf π to warm the gut to receive the cold smoothie ππ. This seems to work , I also drink more herbal teas to beat the cold.
I am a fan of a infared Sauna after a cold surf in the morning and lots of warm magnesium baths of an evening. I hope you are not going to let Winter turn you into a Bear π» over winter as it only serves to sadden the soul. I am encouraging you to stay active and do what you can in this season. Of course yoga helps us stay motivated mentally so donβt miss your yoga π§ββοΈ. Be your own force to be reckoned with until the Spring Flowers start blooming πΊπΊπΊ
